Wotech Solar Group Limited today announced that they have begun the construction of a 28MW solar power plant located in Shule County, Xinjiang Province, China.

Upon its completion in the Third quarter of 2015, the project will generate approximately 56 million kWh of electricity annually, which is enough to meet nearly 30 percent of Shule County's residential power demand. It will offset about 24,000 tons of carbon emissions each year, which is equivalent to planting over 21 million trees.
